3 Big Things You Must Have to be Successful on Facebook.

In our years of experience, there has been many different takes on how to be successful with online advertising, and especially with Facebook. With all the different "Gurus" telling you ways on how they became experts in this field, no wonder it has become very confusing, upsetting, even terrifying for young aspiring entrepreneurs to be an online success using Facebook as their primary medium for social networking and advertising.


Yes, many have had success using Facebook and that is evident, but there are far more unsuccessful entrepreneurs that definitely tip the scale in the opposing direction. The question is this: what are the successful ones doing that the other unsuccessful ones are not? If you are new at Facebook advertising or haven't had the success you've been looking for, then what you need to ensure right from the beginning is that you're branding your online business by what we simply called VCC: Visibility, Credibility, and Connection.


1. Visibility - This is the frontline of your online presence. Much like a traditional brick and mortar business which can be seen from the car window as it passes by driving down the street, an online business through Facebook must be visible to fellow users through mediums like advertising, messaging, posts, and videos. Your first priority is to be seen enough times as to peak the interest of other users to create enough curiosity and intrigue so they will visit your Facebook page or click on your ads. This can be compared to companies like McDonalds who can be seen virtually everywhere. Because they are seen so much on the street, on tv, or online, they are almost instantly the first thought on people's minds when it comes to burger restaurants.


2. Credibility - Once you have peaked the curiosity of your audience, now you need to show them why you are the logical choice for them to buy goods or services from you. The best way to brand yourself is to deliver content that focuses on the needs of the audience; basically, how your product or service will benefit them or improve them in some way. Also, if you are selling products or services on behalf of another person or company (i.e. affiliate marketing) make sure the company you are affiliated with is also credible or you will be at a huge disadvantage from the jump. From an online perspective, this is why branding yourself first and not a company name is so important in the beginning if you don't own a physical company. This way, if something happened to the business or you are no longer selling the same goods or services sometime down the road (yes, this does happen quite often) you will have an easier time transitioning into a new role.


3. Connection - In order to enforce and strengthen your visibility and credibility with your target Facebook audience, you MUST connect with them. Creating Facebook groups or being a part of them and connecting through Messenger have proven to be invaluable assets and avenues to getting more leads and sales. If you are really serious in boosting your connection prowess and making those top end sales then hosting live chats, webinars, and creating video content (yes, being in front of a camera...scary!) have proven to elevate the status of many of the so called "Gurus" through this type of connection; much more than any other online method used.


By keeping the VCC method as your backbone to your Facebook presence, you will remain Visible to your target audience, you will ensure your brand, goods and services remain Credible and your customer's needs come first, and you will keep Connected to your audience daily to remain their focal point "Guru".
