From military man and "home engineer" to entrepreneurs!

I am an entrepreneur! There, I said it! My husband and I have wanted to be our own bosses for over a decade now, and becoming successful entrepreneurs has always been a dream that we have shared together. From life partners to parents to business owners we have always done things as a team. We are fortunate in that our strengths and weaknesses mesh together to help make us a powerhouse couple who can tackle anything together to reach a common goal. Of course we have struggled at times along the way, and like most of you this is not the first business venture we have tried. Our entrepreneurial road began with my photography business which did really well for about 4 years, then our fifth child came along and with that a move to a new town where we bought our first home (previously we lived in military housing as my husband was in the navy) Moving to this new town I quickly realized how saturated the market was and I wasn't getting the amount of clients I once was. Then we tried an opportunity in the financial services industry. After a year this opportunity lacked its lustre and the pressure of constant recruiting and pushy sales combined with small commissions was not working for us and we weren't happy. We wanted to help others be successful and make a difference in their lives but we didn't feel this was the right avenue to do so. Then six years ago we founded CKL platform Promotions. I had a background in business administration specializing in marketing and with Chris's sales and public speaking skills we finally found success! It has been a wonderful venture that we still love today. Best of all we get to help other small business owners and entrepreneurs achieve their goals and dreams as well! We partnered with an affiliate company last year and our success has skyrocketed beyond our wildest dreams! We are so passionate about our new partners we want to share it with all of you!
